Manual Entry |
This option is for users who wish to conduct assessments on paper and then transfer responses to Q-global via manual entry. All Q-global assessments have a manual entry option. |
On-Screen Administration (without Test Session Lock) |
This is a version of On-Screen Assessment that has standard security, but it is possible that an examinee could exit the session and navigate into the Operating System. These sessions require only browser access so will work on both PC and Mac systems. OSA without Test Session Lock is also useful in settings that do not allow users to install applications to the desktop. This option is recommended for use with testing labs, locked down PCs, network managed or other PCs and Macs that do not have files stored on the testing system. |
On-Screen Administration (with Test Session Lock) |
This is the standard On-Screen Administration (OSA) version. It requires that a program be loaded on the PC or Mac system and creates a secure "shell" around an assessment session preventing, to the greatest degree possible, the event of a client exiting the test session and navigating into the Operating System. Because there is software that must be downloaded, only users that have administrator permissions on their systems will be able to use this version. As a result, it may not be available to all users. This option is recommended for clients using PCs or Macs with HIPPA or other sensitive files stored on the system being used for on-screen assessment. |
Remote On-Screen Administration |
Remote On-Screen Assessment is similar to the On-Screen Assessment without the Test Session Lock option; it is started on remote computers using an email with a link to start the session. Because these test sessions may be sent to anyone, anywhere, the exit procedures are such that the client can exit the test session as they wish. This option is used to send online assessment forms to remote clients. It is available for assessments that require input from more than one person such as teachers, parents, counselors and other interested parties. |
