Audit History

Summary

The Audit History is a security-relevant chronological set of records that provides evidence of the sequence of activities that have affected a specific operation within the account. The log captures events, showing “who” did “what” activity and “how” the system behaved.

Examples of captured events:

*  Signing in and out of the system

*  Updating an examinee date of birth

*  Generating a report for an examinee

*  Assigning an assessment to an examinee

Activity Log Tab

The Activity Log tab displays a table of event records for all activities within the account for one (1) day (default). The table includes four elements:

Date Date and time stamp
User Username of the person who conducted the event
Activity Brief description of the action that occurred
Account The user’s Q-global account number

Search

The search function allows you to expand the range of event records displayed in the table. To submit a record display request, enter a start date and an end date, then click the “Go” button. The page will refresh and display the records accordingly. The Activity Log includes event records dated back to 08/01/2019.

Export

The export function allows you to save the event records (displayed in the table) as a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file that can be easily viewed with a text editor like Notepad or a spreadsheet program like Excel.

To submit an export file request, click the “Export” button. The system will prompt you to provide a file name or accept the default file name. Click the “Submit Request” button to submit the request.

Export Files Tab

The Export Files tab displays a table of export CSV files that were requested by the user. The export files are maintained in the system for seven (7) days. Multiple actions are available for each record:

*  Download - allows the user to download the export file

*  Delete - allows the user to delete the export file

*  Resubmit - allows the user to resubmit the request for an export file
