Configuring CELF Preschool–3 UK Reports

The CELF Preschool-3 UK assessment offers a Score Report on Q-global. Click Select next to the report name to proceed to the report configuration settings. The inventory needed to generate the report, as well as the number of usages available, is also provided.

 

CELF Preschool–3 UK Score Report

The CELF Preschool–3 UK Score Report includes an optional Score Summary section that includes the following tables: Subtest Scaled Scores, Core Language Score and Index Scores, Criterion-Score Subtest Scores, Out-of-Age-Range Subtest Scores, and Pairwise Comparisons. The report automatically provides a Behavioural Observations section that reflects any data entered on the Observations tab. The user can also choose to include standard score composite and subtest data and percentile rank composite and subtest data. The following report sections can also be included in the report: a narrative section for composite and subtests and an item analysis section for subtests with item data entered. The Configurations list the choices (options and settings) that the user may select for the Score Report.

Report Options
Child’s name When checked, the child’s name will be included on the report.
Score summary

This is the core report and is selected by default. Both the Subtest Scaled Scores table as well as the Core Language Score and Index Scores table, will be included on the report.

 

Note. For subtests entered out-of-age range, only a raw score, age equivalent, and GSV will be included in the Subtest Scaled Scores table. For raw scores of 0, the GSV is not included. Scores will appear as “---” for invalid subtests or composites.
Out-of-age-range testing

When checked, the Out-of-Age-Range Subtest Scores table will be included on the report. For out-of-age-range subtests, only a raw score, age equivalent, and GSV are included.

 

Note. This report option is disabled if no subtests were administered out-of-age range. For raw scores of 0, the GSV is not included.
Pairwise comparisons

When checked, the Pairwise Comparisons table will be included on the report.

 

Note. Scores will appear as “---” for invalid composites.
Standard score profiles

When checked, both the Core Language Score and Index Standard Score Profile and the Subtest Scaled Score Profile will be included on the report. Each of these profiles will be followed with a table representation of the data.

 

Note. Scores will appear as “---” for invalid composites or subtests.
Percentile rank profiles

When checked, both the Core Language Score and Index Percentile Rank Profile and the Subtest Percentile Rank Profile will be included on the report. Each of these profiles will be followed with a table representation of the data.

 

Note. Scores will appear as “---” for invalid composites or subtests.
Narrative report

When checked, the Narrative Report will be included on the report. This section includes a narrative report for both the composite- and subtest-level data.

 

Note. Invalid composites and subtests will not be included in the narrative.
Item analysis

When checked, the Item Analysis section will be included on the report.

 

Note. This report option is disabled if no item data is entered for any subtest. Item entry must be used to include item-level data on the report.
Criterion-score subtests

When checked, the Criterion-Score Subtest Scores table will be included on the report. Data for the criterion-score subtests will also be included in the Narrative Report and Item Analysis sections of the report if those report options are selected.

 

Note. This report option is disabled if both the Connected Speech Sample and Pragmatic Activities Checklist subtest data is not entered.
Settings

Level of significance Select the level of significance for the composite standard score differences: .05 or .10
