The PPVT-4/EVT-2 Receptive-Expressive Comparison Report contains six sections: Score Comparison, Description of Comparison, Parts of Speech, Home/School, Tiered Words and Results Narrative.
Score Comparison
The score comparison presents the test/form, test date, norm group (age), standard score, standard score difference, significance of difference, and % of population with difference.
Description of Comparison
The comparison description is a static paragraph stating what can be obtained by comparing scores on the PPVT-4 and EVT-2 tests.
Parts of Speech
In the Parts of Speech section, the items attempted, items correct, and percent correct for the parts of speech (noun, verb, and attribute) are listed for the PPVT-4 and the EVT-2. The percent correct for each PPVT-4 and EVT-2 part of speech are plotted in a bar graph.
Home/School
In the Home/School section, the items attempted, items correct, and percent correct for home and school vocabulary are listed for the PPVT-4 and the EVT-2. The percent correct for the home and school scales for the PPVT-4 and EVT-2 are plotted in a bar graph.
Tiered Words
In the Tiered Words section, the items attempted, items correct, and percent correct for the tiered words (Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3) are listed for the PPVT-4 and the EVT-2. The percent correct for each PPVT-4 and EVT-2 tier are plotted in a bar graph.
Results Narrative
The results narrative outlines general information that can be obtained by comparing the PPVT-4 and EVT-2 scores. Standard score difference information that is specific to the examinee is presented. General information stating what can be obtained from Classification by Part of Speech, Classification by Home Versus School Vocabulary, Classification by a Three-Tier Model, and Crossover Vocabulary Sampling Between eVT-2 and PPVT-4 are presented.
The PPVT-4/EVT-2 Receptive-Expressive Comparison Report does not contain report options or settings.
• The PPVT-4/EVT-2 Receptive-Expressive Comparison Report can be printed for Form A and/or Form B of the assessment.
• A PPVT-4 Individual Score Summary Report and EVT-2Individual Score Summary Report must be generated for an examinee before PPVT-4/EVT-2 Receptive-
Expressive Comparison Report can be generated.
• The PPVT-4/EVT-2 Receptive-Expressive Comparison Report can only be generated when the EVT-2 date of administration and PPVT-4 date of administration are within 365 days of one another. If the time period between the EVT-2 administration and PPVT-4 administration exceed 365 days, the report cannot be generated.
