Skills Analysis - Reading Comprehension

The Reading Comprehension tab is enabled when the corresponding subtest checkbox is selected from the Skills Analysis Summary screen. The Reading Comprehension screen lists all of the items in the Item Set selected on the Raw Scores tab. Select the Incorrect checkboxes to add the specified item(s) to the Skills Analysis section of the report.

NOTE: Please ensure that the total entered errors does not exceed the total raw score for the examinee as entered on the Raw Scores windows. Also verify that subtest discontinuation rules are followed.

General grid functionality is available on this screen. Please refer to Filtering for further information.

Field Definitions

• First Item Administered - The value is determined by the Reading Comprehension Item Set selected on the Raw Scores tab. (e.g., If Item Set of Grade 4 is selected on the Raw Scores tab, the First Item Administered value will be 25.)
• Last Item Administered - The value is determined by the Reading Comprehension Item set selected on the Raw Scores tab. (e.g., If Item Set of Grade 4 is selected on the Raw Scores tab, the Last Item Administered value will be 45.)

Item Table

The Item Table contains four columns. By default, all items are unchecked. For existing assessments, previously saved selections will display.

• Incorrect - Checking the box will include details in the Skills Analysis section of the report.
• Item Number - The list is based on valid item numbers from the Item Set selection on the Raw Scores tab.
• Item - The Reading Comprehension Item name.
• Skill - The type of skill that the item addresses.
