Configuring WISC-V Reports

For the WISC-V, there are two reports available: the Score Report and the Interpretive Report.

 

Click Select next to the report name to proceed to the report configurations. The Report Options on the Configurations screen allow the user to choose the report settings.

Include Ancillary/Complementary Summary and Analysis

When checked, the ancillary and complementary selections under Report Settings below are enabled and the Ancillary/Complementary Summary and Analysis information is included in the report.

Report Settings

Primary Composite Score Confidence Interval

Select the desired confidence interval for the primary composite scores. This value is used to determine the reliability of the estimate. Increasing the desired confidence level will widen the confidence interval.  (90% or 95%)

Primary Mean Comparison Selections

These selections are used to determine index-and subtest-level strengths and weaknesses.
 
Index Level
  • Select the desired critical value significance level, base rate reference group, and comparison score.
  • If 'Mean of Primary Index Scores (MIS)' is selected as the comparison score and any primary index is missing, the comparison score will default to 'FSIQ' in the report.
Subtest Level
  • Select the desired critical value significance level and comparison score.
  • If 'Mean of Primary Subtests (MSS-P)' is selected and any primary subtest is missing, the comparison score will default to the 'Mean of FSIQ Subtests (MSS-F)' in the report.

Primary Pairwise Comparison Selections

Index Level
  • Select the desired critical value significance level and base rate reference group.
  • If 'Ability level' is selected as the base rate reference group and FSIQ is invalid, the base rate reference group will default to 'Overall sample' in the report.
Subtest Level
  • Select the desired critical value significance level.

Process Level

  • Select the desired critical value significance level and base rate reference group.
Ancillary Index Score Confidence Interval The 'Include Ancillary/Complementary Summary and Analysis' checkbox must be checked to enable this field. Standard Score Comparisons

  • Select the desired critical value significance level and base rate reference group.
  • If 'Ability level' is selected as the base rate reference group and FSIQ is invalid, the base rate reference group will default to 'Overall sample' in the report.

Scaled Score Comparisons

  • Select the desired critical value significance level.

Process Level Comparisons

  • Select the desired base rate reference group.
  • If 'Ability level' is selected as the base rate reference group and FSIQ is invalid, the base rate reference group will default to 'Overall sample' in the report.

Substitution of Subtest Scores

The drop-down list shows the substitution options that are available based on which raw scores have been entered.

Background History

Select items to include

The following categories can be selected to include background history in the report: Personal, Language and Development, Education, Health, and Employment.

These fields will be enabled if 'History data entered' has been completed on the examinee details screen. If selected, examinee history information entered will be included in the report as a narrative.
