Entering WISC-VUK Scores

The WISC-VUK is the latest version of the most proven, trusted intellectual ability measure in the world. It provides a comprehensive measure of overall intellectual ability, as well as five specific cognitive domains that impact performance in the classroom and beyond. Also included are a number of additional composite scores designed for specific clinical situations.

The WISC-VUK is manual entry only and has three tabs: Overview, Subtests, and Test Behaviour. The Overview tab includes entry of administration settings and assessment demographics. The Subtests tab allows for subtest-level raw score entry. The Test Behaviour tab allows the clinician to capture the test session behaviours exhibited by the examinee, if desired.

Overview Tab

Administration Settings

This section contains general administration information such as administration date, child's age at administration, and examiner.

Assessment Demographics

This section contains the assessment demographics listed in the table below. All the assessment demographic data fields are optional entry.

Field Name

Description

Race/Ethnicity

The examinee's race/ethnicity.

Handedness

The examinee's handedness (preference for the use of the left or right hand).

Primary Language

The examinee's primary spoken language.

Current Year Level

The year level of the individual at the time of the assessment administration.

Is this a Retest?

If ticked, this denotes that the examinee has taken this test at least once before. If a WISC-VUK assessment already exists for this examinee, while opening an existing assessment, the previously entered values are displayed. Leave unticked if this is the first time this examinee is being tested. The software will automatically tick the "Is this a Retest?" tick box if there is a previous assessment of this type for this examinee.

Comments

Allows the examiner to provide additional comments.

Subtests Tab

Use the WISC-VUK Administration and Scoring Manual to score subtest items and obtain the total raw score for each subtest. For Digit Span and Cancellation enter the responses for each item and the total raw score will be calculated automatically. Blank is not a valid value for scoring purposes. A zero, one or two should be entered to trigger a calculated score for unfilled fields (depending on the raw score minimum range).
