The WISC®-V is the latest version of the most proven, trusted intellectual ability measure in the world. It provides a comprehensive measure of overall intellectual ability, as well as five specific cognitive domains that impact performance in the classroom and beyond. Also included are a number of additional composite scores designed for specific clinical situations.
The WISC-V on Q-global includes Manual Entry with an Overview tab, a Subtests tab, and a Test Behavior tab. The Overview tab includes entry of administration settings and assessment demographics. The Subtests tab allows for subtest-level raw score entry. The Test Behavior tab allows the clinician to capture the test session behaviors exhibited by the examinee, if desired.
Administration Settings
This section contains general administration information such as administration date, child's age at administration, and examiner.
Assessment Demographics
This section contains the assessment demographics listed in the table below. All the assessment demographic data fields are optional entry.
Demographic |
Description |
---|---|
Race/Ethnicity (optional) | The examinee's race/ethnicity. |
Handedness (optional) |
The examinee's handedness (preference for the use of the left and/or right hand). |
Primary language (optional) |
The examinee's primary spoken language. |
Current grade (optional)
If summer, enter upcoming grade. |
The grade level of the examinee at the time of the assessment administration. |
Is this a retest? (optional) |
The software will automatically select "Yes" for the "Is this a retest?" question if there is a previous WISC-V assessment saved for the examinee. This denotes that the examinee has taken the WISC-V at least once before.
The software will automatically select "No" for the "Is this a retest?" question if there is not a previous WISC-V assessment saved for this examinee. The "No" should remain selected if this is the first administration of a WISC-V. |
Comments (optional) |
Allows the examiner to enter additional comments. |
Use the WISC-V Administration and Scoring Manual to score subtest items and obtain the total raw score for each subtest. For Digit Span, Cancellation, and Naming Speed Literacy, enter the scores for each item and the total raw score will be calculated automatically. Each subtest entry is optional. A blank field is not a valid value for scoring purposes. A value (e.g., 0, 1, or 2) should be entered to trigger a calculated score (depending on the raw score range).

The age of the examinee will be calculated using the Administration Date and validated that it is within the age range for the WISC-V. The age ranges applicable for the WISC-V are 6:0 to 16:11.
When you click the Proceed to Reports or Save updates button, the assessment is saved and the system checks to ensure all the required data has been entered. If any required data is missing (e.g., Examiner), the record will be saved and a message will be displayed at the top of the screen describing the condition(s) that must be resolved before a report can be generated for the record.
