Configuring DIAL-4 Reports

F   For DIAL-4, there are three reports available: the DIAL-4 Score Report, the Speed DIAL-4 Score Report, and the DIAL-4 Group Report. The DIAL-4 Score Report and Speed DIAL-4 Score Report include the same report options.

DIAL-4 and Speed DIAL-4 Score Reports

The options for the DIAL-4 Score Report and Speed DIAL-4 Score Report are found under an Include tab and a Settings tab.

 

Include Tab

The checkboxes on the Include tab allow the user to choose the report sections to include in the DIAL-4 Score Report or the Speed DIAL-4 Score Report. On this tab, the user also determines if the examinee’s name should appear on the report.

Field Name

Description

Use Respondent Name

When checked, the examinee's name and the parent's name (where applicable) will be included in the report.

Print Raw Scores

When checked, the raw scores entered in the system (from the record form) will be included in the report.

Include Parent-Child Activities

When checked, the parent-child activities summary will be included in the report. Check boxes are presented allowing the user to identify which parent-child activities are included.

Report Language

This indicates the language that the report will be generated in.

 

Settings Tab

Field Name

Description

Cutoff Level

Select the cutoff level to use to determine if an examinee’s performance indicates a potential development delay.

 

DIAL-4 Group Report

The options for the DIAL-4 Group Report are found under an Include tab and a Settings tab. A statement indicating how many assessment records you have selected for the report is presented above the tabs.

 

Include Tab

Field Name

Description

Use Students' Names

When checked, all of the students' names will be included in the report.

Print Roster of Students' Individual Scores

When checked, the report will include a section displaying individual scores for each of the students' assessments included in the report.

 

Settings Tab

Field Name

Score Type

Select the type of scores to be included in the student roster area of the report.

Cutoff Level

Select the level that scores will be evaluated against and thereby interpreted.
