Additional Options |
|
Composite standard score differences |
Expand the Composite standard score differences panel and check the Include with report option to include composite standard score differences on the report. You may choose up to 15 custom composite comparisons. |
Subtest standard score differences |
Expand the Subtest standard score differences panel and check the Include with report option to include subtest standard score differences on the report. You may choose up to 30 custom subtest comparisons. |
Ability-achievement discrepancy analysis |
The Ability-achievement discrepancy analysis (AAD) option is available when age-based norms are selected. AAD settings are displayed when the Include with report option is selected. If selected, all AAD fields must be filled in before a report can be generated. Manual Mode: When a single KTEA-3 assessment record is selected for report generation, the AAD interface runs in “manual” mode. In this mode, the ability fields must be manually entered. Assessment Details: Select the assessment to be used for AAD analysis and specify the scale and score. Settings: Select AAD analysis method (predicted or simple) and significance level (0.01 or 0.05) to be used for AAD analysis. Automatic Mode: When one KTEA-3 assessment is selected along with one of the applicable ability assessments for the same examinee, the AAD interface runs in “automatic” mode. In this mode, the ability assessment is pre-populated based on the selected assessment record and the ability score is pre-populated based on the user-selected ability scale. Assessment Details: Specify the scale to be used for AAD analysis. The score will be automatically populated from the administration you selected along with the KTEA-3 to generate the report. Settings: Select AAD analysis method (predicted or simple) and significance level (0.01 or 0.05) to be used for AAD analysis. DAS-II, DAS-II NU, KABC-II, KABC-II NU, WISC-V, and the WISC-V Integrated can be selected as ability test options. IMPORTANT NOTE Manual Mode ONLY: If the KABC-II was administered prior to March 25, 2018, the KABC-II form should be selected from the Ability test options. If the KABC-II was administered on or after March 25, 2018, then choose the KABC-II NU from the Ability test options. |
Pattern of strengths and weaknesses model |
The pattern of strengths and weaknesses discrepancy analysis (PSW) option is available when age-based norms are selected. PSW settings are displayed when the Include with report option is selected. If selected, all PSW fields must be filled in before a report can be generated. The PSW table and profile will be included in the report. Manual Mode: When a single KTEA-3 assessment record is selected for report generation, the PSW interface runs in “manual” mode. In this mode, the ability and achievement fields must be manually entered. Ability Assessment Details: Select the ability assessment and specify the age at administration for the assessment. Settings: Select the strength and weakness scales and fill in applicable scores. Achievement Assessment Details: Details for the KTEA-3 assessment are displayed. Settings: Select weakness scale and significance level (0.01 or 0.05) to be used for PSW analysis. The weakness score for the selected scale is filled in automatically. Note: The Associational Fluency, Object Naming Facility, and Letter Naming Facility subtests cannot be selected as an Achievement Weakness in the Pattern of Strengths & Weaknesses model. Automatic Mode: When one KTEA-3 assessment is selected along with one of the applicable ability assessments for the same examinee, the PSW interface runs in “automatic” mode. In this mode, the assessment and scores are filled in automatically for the user-selected ability strength and ability weakness. DAS-II, DAS-II NU, KABC-II, KABC-II NU, WISC-V, and the WISC-V Integrated can be selected as ability tests. Note: Use of a score above 85 as a weakness may not be accepted in all settings. |
