Entering MACI Scores

For MACI, there is a Demographics tab and an Item Entry tab.

Demographics Tab

The Demographics tab includes an Administrator section and an Examinee section.

Counselor Code Q	Counselor Code Q – Defined by user
Counselor Code R	Counselor Code R – Defined by user
Counselor Code S	Counselor Code S – Defined by user
Counselor Code T	Counselor Code T – Defined by user

Counselor Code V	Counselor Code V – Defined by user
Counselor Code W	Counselor Code W – Defined by user
Counselor Code X	Counselor Code X – Defined by user
Counselor Code Y	Counselor Code Y – Defined by user
Counselor Code Z	Counselor Code Z – Defined by user
Examinee
Administration Language	The language used to administer the test.
Current School Grade	The examinee’s current grade in school.
What of the following is your most serious problem?	The problem identified by the examinee as their most serious problem.
What of the following is your second most serious problem?	The problem identified by the examinee as their second most serious problem.

Data Entry Rules

Counselor Code Q field allows a maximum of two digits (0–9).
Counselor Code R field allows a maximum of four digits (0–9).
All other counselor code fields allow a maximum of one digit (0–9).
Counselor Codes Q through Z are used to record information used in your research. If you are not using the fields for research, you may skip/omit the fields.

Item Entry Tab

Field Name	Description
Show Item Text	If this box is checked, the item text will be presented when you click into the item entry field.
Item Entry fields	Item responses for the MACI assessment.

Command Buttons

When you click the Save or the Save and Close button, the system checks to ensure all of the required data has been entered. If any data is missing or invalid, you will be asked if you want to continue.

If you choose “Yes,” the record will be saved with a status of “Ready for Administration” or “Needs Editing,” depending on the data still necessary to score the assessment. When you open the assessment record again and click the "Edit" button, you will be able to complete any missing or invalid items.

If you choose “No,” you are returned to the page where you can finish entering the data immediately.
