The PPVT™–4 is a measure of receptive vocabulary for Standard American English. The PPVT–4 assessment was designed to coordinate with the EVT™–2 (Expressive Vocabulary Test, Second Edition) test to compare receptive and expressive vocabulary. The PPVT–4 can be administered to individuals ages 2:6 through 90+
The PPVT-4 can be manually entered or administered through On-Screen Administration (OSA) or Remote On-Screen Administration (ROSA).

The PPVT-4 allows raw score entry or item score entry. To perform raw score entry, enter a valid raw score ( 0-228). To perform item score entry, expand the accordion and proceed to item entry.
Enter the response (not score) for each stimulus item response. Valid Responses: 1,2,3,4,or D(5) = Don't Know. Incorrect examinee responses are highlighted in blue and invalid responses are highlighted in yellow.

The complete set rule requires that all 12 items in a set must be administered. If an item is missing within a set, the test is considered unscorable until all items in the set are answered.
The complete administration rule requires that all sets between the first and the last set administered be complete.
